May 11th Consortium Meeting: Workforce Development

Please join us for our May 11th Consortium Meeting where we will be discussing Workforce Development. We have an exciting line up of speakers doing great work in our region.

• Mark Markarian and Gerardo Flores with Sycamores, our SPA 3 CES lead for Transitional Age Youth, will discuss innovative workforce development projects to serve our TAY population

• Union Station Homeless Services will present on their pilot program with LAHSA regarding a homeless hiring tax credits and the "benefits cliff" people face

• Elizabeth Galvez and Arthur Monreal from Goodwill of Southern California will speak on workforce development for youth, adult, homeless and reentry as well as their special employment grants for our homeless population
