“A New Season: Making Space for Affordable Housing” was the theme of the San Gabriel Valley Consortium on Homelessness 2024 Housing Summit. Hosted by the Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation at their beautiful campus in San Dimas, attendees gathered from around the region to listen to our expert panel of speakers and then meet with them in small groups for more intense conversations. Thank you to our presenters Tim Sandoval, Mayor, City of Pomona; Steven Spielberg, Senior VP, Alliant Strategic Development; Muhammad Alameldin, Policy Associate, Terner Center, UC Berkeley; and Alexa Washburn, Senior VP of Planning and Acquisitions, National Community Renaissance (National CORE). Also, thank you to our sponsors who helped make this event possible, California Community Reinvestment Corporation, Century Housing, Cesar Chavez Foundation, National CORE, Enterprise, Jamboree Housing, Majestic Realty Foundation, and Women Organizing Resources, Knowledge, and Services (WORKS)
