The agency provides substance use disorder services primarily to San Gabriel Valley residents who are 18 years of age or older, including people who are undocumented. Services include methadone maintenance programs for adults, opioid detoxification and perinatal drug use disorder treatment. The agency serves people who are HIV or who are currently using opiate drugs; and pregnant addicts. There are no geographic restrictions. The outpatient drug detoxification is a 21-day program which uses regulated doses of methadone. Participants are required to take an initial drug test to verify dependency. The maintenance program includes regulated doses of methadone, individual, family and group counseling, and vocational rehabilitation. Participants are also referred to NA, or other self help groups, but attendance is not mandatory. The agency also provides a pregnant addict program for pregnant addicts. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call to apply. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE Fees are $12 per day for the detoxification program. There is a sliding scale, starting at $160 per month for the maintenance program. Medi-Cal is accepted as payment for the detoxification and maintenance programs.
