The foundation’s clinics provides health services primarily for low-income Los Angeles County residents, including people who are undocumented and individuals who are uninsured. Services include health education, pediatric services, mammograms, pap tests, support groups, and volunteer opportunities. Alternative medicine including chinese herbal medicine and acupuncture, and dental services are also available. There are no geographic restrictions; income eligibility requirements apply for some services.
The clinic generally serves low-income people without health insurance, who meet income eligibility according to the Federal Poverty Guideline Index. Household income cannot exceed $12,000 for a single person; $16,800 for two; $19,200 for three; or $21,000 for a family of four; cash resources may not exceed $2,000 for a single person; $3,000 for two; $3,150 for three; or $3,300 for four. This is subject to change under the Federal Poverty Guidelines.
Hours: Mon-Thurs, 8:00AM-8:00PM; Fri-Sat, 8:00AM-6:00PM.
