The agency provides health services for low-income, uninsured, and underinsured families who live, primarily in the San Gabriel Valley. Services are targeted, but not restricted to the Chinese community. The clinic will serve undocumented immigrants, and will serve HMO patients. Services include adolescent/adult immunizations, alternative medicine, certificates/forms assistance, child health and disability prevention exams, childhood immunizations, community clinics, contract clinics, dental care, general physical examinations, mammograms, and ultrasound screening. Some low-cost programs require proof of California State residence and others require proof of Los Angeles County residence.
Contract clinic services include outpatient health services for uninsured, low-income Los Angeles County residents of all ages, including General Relief recipients. It provides primary general medical care. Applicant’s household income must be at or below 134% of federal poverty guidelines, or who are GR recipients. When client lists are full, the Contract Clinic services to new clients are placed on hold and only ongoing patients can be seen.
