The program provides emergency food for low-income people of all ages who live in the Greater El Monte area including South El Monte, La Puente, Baldwin Park and Rosemead. Services include an ongoing food program. Services are restricted to residents of El Monte, South El Monte, La Puente, Baldwin Park and Rosemead.
The program provides two bags of groceries that typically consists of staples such as rice, beans, milk and fresh produce, but varies according to availability. Baby food and diapers are available on occasion. The amount of food varies according to family size but is usually enough to last three to four days. People can be assisted twice per month; people in crisis from outside the service area will be served one time only and given a referral in their area.
