The program provides residential treatment for substance use disorders for women age 18 and older, and for pregnant women and women with children under the age of 5. Services include residential substance use disorder treatment facilities. Residents must be physically able to care for themselves; the program cannot accommodate women who use wheelchairs. There are no geographic restrictions.
The length of stay in the program ranges from 30 to 180 days. Sober living homes are provided for periods of up to one year according to need. Program services include AA meetings, individual and group counseling, recreational activities, transportation to AA meetings, vocational rehabilitation and educational counseling. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call for an intake appointment. If space is not available, eligible applicants are placed on a waiting list and instructed to call back daily. Admission requires a TB test and physical; ID and Social Security card; UIB printout from the Unemployment office; and for women who are pregnant a recent pregnancy test. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE Private pay fees for women with no children are $180 a day. Sliding scale fees are available. No one is turned away due to inability to pay, but might be placed on a waiting list.
